the Samsung galaxy z4 is coming with a huge improvement over the predecessor and i'll be sharing the details right after this [Music] so this week we've got great news for the Samsung galaxy z fold 3 with plenty of information on its spec and design as well as a huge improvement that many have been waiting to see before we get started though please like the video if you're a fan of Samsung let me know in the comments what country you're actually watching today's video from and if you are new here then don't forget to hit subscribe to stay up to date with the latest tech so the first story of the day is that Samsung are setting huge sales targets for the z-fold 3 and the flip while folding phones are still growing in market share Samsung believes that this is the year for some growth and they've set very ambitious targets according to a new report from the elect, Samsung are aiming for 7 million units between the pair of folding phones although the flip is expected to sell more due to its lower cost last week we saw plenty of new tech from Samsung displays where we also had some focus on the under panel cameras of course leakers have been advising us that the fold three is gonna have upc and it's now finally starting to feel like reality from what we know it's believed that it's first going to appear in a laptop and then it's gonna be coming to the z fold three although it's also only going to be the main inside display the outer display is still going to use a punch-hole selfie camera next up we've got many blogs reporting that the Samsung galaxy z4 won't be coming with any physical buttons and it's going to focus on touch the information comes after let's go digital discover a patent and it shows the device using capacitive touch buttons over physical buttons and it's even labeled the galaxy z fold gestures now the idea is that touch squeeze and swipe functions are going to be used not only to save space but currently with buttons on one side that means more pressure is always being put on that side and there are worries that the hinge could damage over time if the device is made thinner so in order to make the phone slimmer and still stay durable Samsung believe that this is the solution now the patent was filed in November 2020 so there is a chance that it could be for the z-fold 3 but we have to remember this is the first time we're hearing of this Samsung file a lot of patents to protect their ideas but it doesn't necessarily mean that they're going to be using the technology I think this probably is not going to be in the galaxy default 3 and it could be in a future generation but we'll have to wait and see next up we've got the news that one of the fold's biggest issues have been solved reliable leaker ice universe issued a tweet to say that Samsung has made significant progress in solving the creasing issue in the fold 3 and the flip 3. he then commented on the same tweet and said you cannot see their creases now of course with most materials if you fold them then they are going to crease so it's going to be interesting to see how Samsung actually solved this I would think it's got something to do with not actually folding the screen much when it's shut and allowing for a less dramatic flex of the screen internally whatever the method though it's great news to hear and I know from the comments, the decrease is one of the things that seemed to be putting many people off purchasing a folding phone so it appears that we're finally at a stage where it's become more practical we've got huge improvements over the first generation of folding phones it's no surprise that Samsung have set their targets higher this time if all the leaks on the fold three and the flip are true now for those of you that are excited about the z fold 3
Specs Design and Expected Pricing.
we're now going to run through the spec's design and the expected Pricing to help you guys decide if this is the phone for you. when it comes to the Samsung galaxy z fold 3 the main inner display is actually going to be smaller than the predecessor coming in at 7.5 inches it is of course only 0.1 inches smaller and it's going to be a ltpo panel with a 120hz refresh rate resolution is currently unconfirmed but it's likely to remain close to 2208 by 1768 we saw on the predecessor and it's going to be the first folding phone to support the s pen this is thanks to an increase in screen protection with a 60-micrometer ultra-thin glass now the front display is reportedly remaining the same size as the predecessor and comes with a 6.2-inch AMOLED display so if the inner display is reducing in size and this display remains the same then we're hoping for slightly trimmed down bezels when it comes to the cameras we're getting a punch or selfie camera on the front display and an in-display the selfie camera on the main the exact lenses and sensors are not known at the moment although we do expect them to be similar to the 10 megapixel wide angles that we saw in the predecessor when it comes to the rear we're expecting a triple camera setup in the new subtle camera housing and there are many reports of minor changes, if any so expect a 12 megapixel wide a 12-megapixel telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera when it comes to ram and storage we're expecting the z43 to have 16 gigs of ddr5 ram with a choice of 128 256 or 512 storage there were rumors of an AMD and Samsung chipset but it looks like the fold three is gonna be using the snapdragon triple eight it's all going to be powered by a 4275 milliamp-hour battery with 25-watt fast charging and while it is slightly smaller than last time with the new chip efficiencies smaller display and ltpo panel then we should still see an improvement in battery life it will of course ship with one ui 3 based on Android 11 and it's going to be available in beige black green or silver color options when it comes to the pricing nothing has been confirmed just yet we're expecting it to launch around two thousand dollars to two thousand one hundred if we see the usual price increase so overall the Samsung galaxy default 3 is looking like an incredible phone and it's great to see more innovation in the smartphone industry with plenty of leaked information coming through we can be pretty sure that most of the information is correct but with launch expected in august then it's not long until we get the official confirmation from Samsung of course as always I'd like to know your thoughts down in the comments who out there is excited for the galaxy z fold, 3 and you're happy that the display crease may be gone for good but thanks for watching the video if you liked it smash a thumbs up if you didn't hit the thumbs down twice and I'll see you guys in the next one.
